Last weekend I went to Grapevine Texas to see Journey's Back Yard BBQ.
Thanks Tony and Stacy and the rest of the guys and Gretchen too for the ride!

Bert Fields

I decided to skate to the store at Spring Valley @ Coit. It was 97 degrees. I took the bus back.
It was a 5.3 mile trip through Bert Fields Park then residential streets mostly. Very hot, this was my rout.

I have found a new garage in Downtown Dallas. I'm not sure about riding it yet. It has a lot of columns and is extremely fast. I just don't feel comfortable riding it yet and I'm not sure if it's the garage being dangerous or if it's my new wheels that need to be broken in. So the verdict is still out on this one. It will take a few more runs to figure it all out.

It is located across the street from the old police station on Elm St.

This is a trip to Arbor Hills Nature Preserve....http://youtu.be/E6L2obzha9w
We were really going too fast to operate the video camera safely so the footage is on some fairly normal terrain. I want to go back again soon. Shout out to Proper Longboards!!!!!!!!

                 New Orangatang's P4 70mm 83a.

I still need to brake them in, go ride for a few miles should do it. Think next time i will go with the orange Orangatang's, they are grippyer.
Rooftops and garages around my house are above and the link below is a google street view of a fun garage.

I like some of the smaller garages they seem to be just as fun as larger structures. Oh man this is a cool garage! Check out this google street view,  it's next to the gold buildings on Caruth Haven and Central Expressway. Caruth Haven Parking Structure
This is the best garage in town, it's kind of a fast garage but just enjoyable and fun. Check it out for sure.

skate the 405

Was looking at pictures about the closing of the 405 Freeway in Las Angles. At the bottom of the page in an article there was mention of two arrests this morning on the closed freeway. One was a 90 year old jogger and the other guy was on a skateboard! Don't know if this is the same guy or another one but here's a link. http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/video?id=8254962&pid=null

Building Service Entrance Drop 7-9-2011

WARNING DANGEROUS:
This is the building service entrance at the corner of Greenville & Walnut Hill, in Dallas. As you can see it's a good drop of approximately 100 feet and then into the parking facility. There is a right hand turn around the corner then a good ramp down for a quick left corner then it smooths out and you are on street level on the opposite side of the building.

Hills always look bigger when you are looking down them. Somehow I managed to take a few pics on the way. Yea it's pretty much hauling ass into the garage, and the left turn at the bottom of the garage is fun because I get to really lean into the curve and commit to riding it out and my pintail longboard is just the Cadillac to get me down the hill.....
